Hello,
Our IT team just configured Alteryx Server and we are in the testing phase.
We tested a workflow that is working fine with small Excel files (less than 750k rows) but when we tried to upload a file that has over 750K rows the app remained stuck in the "Processing" step after the workbook was selected.
We already increased the chained app timeout to 300 seconds but the issue remains.
Not to mention that the Excel files we tested, were less than 100MB.
So my questions are:
1. Is there a way to configure the Alteryx Server to upload large files (more than 100MB) from a different location (local drive, but with access from the Server) or is this a limitation by design?
2. If this is a limitation, then what is the max file size in MBs Alteryx Server can handle without intermittently fail?
We plan to grant access to the Alteryx Server for multiple teams that are using multiple Excel files or large datasets (from 5 to 50 GB), so uploading files directly to the server with workarounds such as using a Text Box Tool to pass the UNC path and access the file directly is not a viable solution, as many of the users are not technically savvy.
Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks
