Alteryx Server Upgrade with standalone MongoDB

Hi All,

We are using 2019.1 and standalone Mongo DB 3.4. 

Shall we upgrade the server to 2019.3 first and then upgrade mongo to 4.0 ?

or Mongo go first and then Alteryx Server ?

Can 2019.1 run with Mongo 4.0 ?

The 2019.3 installer will upgrade Alteryx Server first and then MongoDB.

I'd recommend doing it the same as the main installer and stopping the "AlteryxService" service, updating Alteryx Server first, then MongoDB and then starting the Windows Service back up.

2019.1 has not been tested on Mongo 4.0 so wouldn't be supported.

One thing I'd highlight is that the Mongo upgrade process does require you to successively upgrade to major releases (3.6) before upgrading to 4.0. Below are links to more details for
