Hi All,
We recently upgraded our Alteryx Servers from 2023.1 to 2024.2. Post Server Upgrade we are facing issues with Custom Tools (Tableau, Salesforce and Sharepoint) even though we install 3.10 version of these tools, we are seeing error ""Failed to start process: %1 is not a valid Win32 application".
We are facing issue with Python tool, where the jupyter toolbook is not loading and also issue with Email tool, where workflows fails with error "Error: Email (52): Record#1: Func 'curl_easy_perform' failed, ret = 56, desc = Failure when receiving data from the peer" [ ref:!00DE00JJZ4.!500R30Lvqx3:ref ]"
Did anyone come across similar issue after upgrade?
Thanks,
Srivatsan
Hi @vatsan19
I'm assuming v3.10 of the tools is actually Python v3.10? Have you updated the Custom Tools themselves to ensure they are on the latest compatible version?
It looks like majority of the tools you're having an issue with are Python based i think - have a look at this article which may provide some help if the error is the same. It's specific for Sharepoint but does mention any Python based connectors can be affected - https://knowledge.alteryx.com/index/s/article/SharePoint-Input-1-Failed-to-start-process-1-is-not-a-...
We installed the 3.10 version of Custom tools as part of Upgrade activity but still we're getting this error. Alteryx suggests this may be issue regarding Crowdstrike. We checked with our Crowdstrike team but they don't see any blocking from server as well. I believe this might be issue with Server Upgrade since we did two upgrades with 2023.2 as pit stop to 2024.2.
