table apears as code in output file

hello, 

I am using the table tool before writing my data into an excel sheet. 

when I use a browse to look at the result of table its looks good, when I write it into an excel file it apears just as code, anyone knows what the problem is?

you are using output for report output

you need to use render tool for report output.

Its not straight forward

Check the config for this workflow

In layout tool this config at the bottom gives the sheet name.

May I suggest that you use the output data tool to append to a worksheet range and further benefit from keeping the destination formatting and minimize runtime...if you are not rendering text, header, footer, images, etc.

Something like this.

Render will not preserve formatting.  Try the output tool and select 'keep formatting'.
