if formula problem

Hi everyone. Dear friends I need help to solve followıng if formula problem.

if [Event_type_category_III]="X" or [Event_type_category_III]="Y" or [Event_type_category_III]="Z"
then [Number_of_events]=[Right_Number_of_events]
else [Number_of_events]
endif

I use thıs formula but I cant get desıred result. As: if event category is equal to X Y or Z, number of events should equal to other column data (right num events), if not equal to itself.

Could someone help me to solve it? Thanks in advance!

Hi @Naila

You'll have to remove the [Number_of_events]= after then

if [Event_type_category_III] in ("X", "Y", "Z")
then [Right_Number_of_events]
else [Number_of_events]
endif

Hope this helps.
