dynamic change data type with dynamic input report

Hello Community

I have the following challenge, I want to make a logic in alteryx analytic app, whose objetive is change data type in the column that I selected, it must to be dynamic with differents input data, the idea is chose one column o more that i want to change for example from the data chanche the column "material" from data type double to string

I did this exercise but didn't work , I'll appreciate your help
