Using Check Box to control if a value needs updating

Can anybody let me know what is wrong with this formula?

I want to use the checkbox to define whether I need an input value from the text input?

Thanks

As far as i know (I'm no expert), you can't set them like that. What you want to do is to set a chain of actions, where depending on your first answer the textbox will be aviable or not.

This should help you:

Yeah, I was trying to do something similar to what they have done in the data cleansing tool!!

Appreciate the link anyhow

Well maybe this will help. It's saved as a workflow, change it first to an app.

Hey - Thanks. This worked (logically) although the check box is reversed ie feeds down custom input when box is unchecked rather than checked. Any ideas how to do this. If not I will have a play. Thanks
