Use Nested Test tool to reduce Neural Netwrok models

I am trying to pare down the number of input variables for a neural network model.  Is it possible to use the Nested Test tool to evaluate the significance of predictor variables, or is that only usable for regression models?

The Nested Test Tool will only work for comparing pairs of regression models, where one model has a subset of variables of the other model. To compare versions of Neural Network Models, I would recommend looking at the Model Comparison Tool available for download of the predictive district of the Alteryx Gallery.
