Update question

I just updated to the latest version of Alteryx Designer (Admin) and the Intel Suite (Admin).

Prior to the update I was taking my first steps using the Python Tool.

After the update it looks like I have to reinstall all my packages (nltk, punkt, SpaCY, etc.).

Is that how it works?  You have to reinstall after every update?  Is there an alternative?
