Good morning,
I am using the Unique tool to filter out duplicates in and output excel file. My unique tool has all of the columns checkboxed, but when I output the excel file, I can still see duplicates when I do conditional formatting within excel. Essentially, I am trying to identify and remove all rows that have duplicate BPO Numbers - certain BPOs in our system are assigned to multiple owners, so when it gets exported to excel, it creates a duplicate row entry to list out each owner as it's own row, but it's for the same BPO. I tried to only have the "BPO Number" checkbox checked, but it seems to be taking out all data that has a duplicate (instead of leaving one unique, it appears to be taking everything out). Not sure how to change my settings in order to remove all duplicates but leave one unique entry. I have attached my workflow in case I'm doing something wrong. I'm new to Alteryx so any info would be helpful. Thank you!
@Goshawn without the file, we cannot help further - the behavior you are describing is not normal and it should be leaving one entry for each unique record in the U anchor and all the rest in the D anchor!
If you cannot upload the entire thing, at least provide a sample so we can see the workflow in action
