Target load sequence

Hi All,

I have one input file and three target oracle tables. I have created a workflow with one input tools , few preparation tools and three output tools.

My requirement is that if loading of table 1 is successful then only loading of 2nd table must start. when loading of 2nd table is successful then only 3rd must start.

Can I achieve this? any idea?

Regards

Himanshu

Hi @hima_shar!

A configuration like so (image below) should allow you to achieve this. The 'hand' icon is the parallel block until done tool which is available in the crew macro pack (http://community.alteryx.com/t5/Engine-Works-Blog/Crew-Macro-Pack-2016-Q2-Release/ba-p/26482).

The parallel block until done tool means the 2nd stream is not passed through the tool until the 1st stream has gone through and completed any subsequent processes (such as the output).

By layering these together you can create your load sequence.
