Table tool Configuration

Hello,

Need help with table tool configuration.

I am trying to fix the column width using the table tool but somehow it is not working and the excel output is still a wrapped text.

Below is the configuration

@PJS adjust the paper size in the Render tool,

That works! but the issue is there are multiple sheets/outputs in the same excel output file and I want to do 50x50 only for one output not for the others. Is that possible?

@PJS by default, the paper size is applicable to all the sheets created from the render tool. One workaround suggested by @CharlieS is given below, i never tried this option

The workaround I've used before is to use empty blocking tables to shrink down the column widths on the sheet that doesn't need as much paper size. After you build your workflow/rendering process to the largest table/paper size, you're left with other sheets with larger than desired column widths. On the sheet you'd like to be more narrow, layout blank tables on the right to add columns which will shrink all column widths.

@PJS --- yup -- that's a known limitation of Render --- and a reason people explore the render/output data combo (all pages get created --- rendered pages get all data, other pages get one line --- output data overwrites these sheets after) --- or the template version (blob template --- overwrite blob template --- keep formatting).

@PJS Depending on the use of the output - PDF will follow your table assigned rules and sizing much better. This will allow you to select the exact sizing of each column.

Thank you all! will try & explore the suggestions given. Since am new to Alteryx, I will go with adjusting paper size/custom size for now.
