Summarizing by date

Hi guys, i have this input and I'm looking to have an output similar to the one below, i want to SUM all hours related to a specific person in at a specific day in one row, appreciate any ideas please and thanks in advance!

@Shahed123 simply use the summaries tool to achieve the output.
where you will group by Project,Date,M and SM and Sum - Hours
make sure your Hours field is in numeric format

you can refer to the example attached to tool as well for clarity.

its not working for some reason, is there a way to make make the Date column appear as a period instead of Individual days? like 9 - 14 Jan 2024?

@Shahed123 - change the Action for date to Concatenate. You might want to clean up the resulting date field, but each person will have one row of data.

Aside from that @Raj's response should get you what you want in your desired output pictured.

Try converting the Column to string or use date time tool to change the Column to string type and make use of it.
this will definitely solve the issue.
