Stuck with a Calculation Scenario - 2 Data Sources

Hi Community,

Not too sure how to proceed with this scenario.

So, basically i have 2 data sets BSD & DS. I need the Volume Calculation output to be :

Sum of Actual version, August 2020 : Volume from DS data source

&

Sum of September 2020 to July 2021: Volume from BSD data source

DS will be my primary data source however, BSD is just used for this calculation. Attached workflow for reference.

Can someone please advise how can i solve this? Thanks,

Hi,

I am not sure what you want to achieve.

I saw that you wanted to join this using multiple join tool but I am not sure if this is the correct approach. The 2 data sets got keys that you would be able to use?

In your case, the union tool will not work better?

Hello @udles5666 ,

Does this help you progress.

Lets us know if not.

Hi Emil,

Thanks to the idea - I managed to union the 2 data sets by making the column names same. And once I had the whole data set into 1 I created expressions to query and extract info accordingly.

Thanks @Emil_Kos @ImadZidan
