String to number

Hi,

I want to change strings to numbers.

They include 

・-1,245,333,000

・-2,000.05

・25

etc...

One column has Decimal point,minus,comma.

I can't change the strings.

So, Why select tool can't change the size?

and 

When decimal point and integer are included,
How are you digitizing it?
I do not want to use "00" against good figures.
