Standard Field Mapping using Arrange tool Macro

Hello,

I am currently planning on using the arrange tool to condense the column names into some standard column names my team has defined. I would like to have this part of the data model workflow be a macro so that I can do everything manually just one time. The question I have is if the macro will run during a scenario where the column names being selected to be renamed are not actually found in the data set. Is there a way to have the Macro still work as intended and ignore any situation to where the column names to be condensed are not found in the data? Can it just ignore the step and continue on with the columns that are found in the data set.
