Skip a column in upload file

How to skip a column of data in the upload process?

I have let's saw 30 columns of data, and I was to exclude to of the columns?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

If you are uploading from a file, this is not possible. You'd have to import all of the data, and then use a Select after to remove the column.

Alternatively if you are importing from a database, you can specify the columns you'd like in the select statement.

I have uploaded all 30 columns.  What tool do I use to separate out the two columns I do not want to use on a go forward basis?

Use a Select tool.

In the example attached I imported 15 fields. In the select tool, I unchecked the ones I did not need, so I only have 3.

I found out where to remove the columns from my data.

I used the select tool.
