Sharepoint List and File input issues

BonusCup

Hi,

My team and I are having issues running workflows that are using either SharePoint Lists or Files as inputs.  Our local Designers and Server are all using SharePoint v2.4.1 tool.

We are able to run the workflows from out local machines but here are the errors we receive.

From Gallery:
There was an unknown error executing the application. The engine reported status Error (ToolId: -1)

When saving from Server Designer to Gallery:

I've set up the DCM connection which successfully connects after configuring.  Has anyone ran into these issues and how did you resolve?  TIA

I think it is better for you raise this matter to the Alteryx Support team via their Mission Control page.

You can then share your issue with an Alteryx Engineer on call, they can help troubleshoot better and faster + provide email guidance to you.

If they resolved it, you can also post it back here for the community to use.

hi @BonusCup

Seeing what error says, I guess one possible cause is a network issue.

When Sharepoint tool runs, they do authentication with Azure. This connection is sometimes blocked if the inbound/outbound connection to Azure website are not allowed in firewall or something in computer where Alteryx Server is hosted.

Also check the connection string can be resolved by Alteryx Server as well as your local computer, if applicable.

In my environment, Sharepoint tool works properly on both local and server, so try to investigate network issue at first.
