Hello Alteryx Community,
I’m working on outputting a new Excel file to SharePoint, but this file is not part of a SharePoint list.
I have located the site, document library, and specified the file path. I selected the “Add File” option, named the file, set it to process as “XLSX,” specified the sheet name, and chose to write headers. However, I keep encountering an error stating that the file was skipped due to a schema mismatch.
Since I’m not writing to a SharePoint list, I’m unsure why this error occurs. Could someone please help me understand how to correctly create a new output file in SharePoint using the SharePoint output tool?
Thank you in advance for your assistance!
Alyssa

@Alyssa A few questions -
1. What version of the Sharepoint Output tool are you using?
2. Did you connect through DCM? If so, did you select the SharePoint Files output option?
3. Are you able to post screenshots of your configurations in the output tool and the corresponding error you are getting?
4. Do you have to use the SharePoint output tool? I have found it is quite finicky and if you can use a regular output data tool with your SharePoint location, that would be much smoother (and quicker).
Here is a link to something that may help: https://knowledge.alteryx.com/index/s/article/GCSE-374-Error-File-EXCEL-FILE-skipped-due-to-schema-m...

Could you try to delete the SharePoint tool and reset the credentials again? I found that sometimes this works for me
