Setting File

Hello,

Before reinstalling Alteryx, I would like to save my setup configuration such as my Alias Manager with all my database connections already set up.

Is there any setting file in Alteryx folder I should save before reinstalling so I keep my settings?

If you're just doing an uninstall and reinstall, you shouldn't have to worry about it.  I've done plenty of re-installs and never lost any.

If you want to be extra safe though and back it up for peace of mind, the files are located here:

C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Alteryx\Engine\

GalleryAlias.xml

UserAlias.xml

UserConnections.xml

I should not worry then. Nevertheless, I did not find the files you talked about (see screenshot).

Actually I did not find them anywhere on C:\

My Alteryx version is 11.5.1.

@clcdr you went one directory too deep.  Go up one level.  You want to be in the Engine folder.
