Schema mismatch issues - Multiple excel file not being merged

Good Day Everyone 

I have an issue merging multiple files in excel, Alteryx throws an exception that there is a mismatch between files and skips importing it. 

Here is the summary 

File 1:

Field Name	Type
Field 1	V_String
Field 2	V_String
Field 3	V_String
Field 4	V_WString

File 2:

Field Name	Type
Field 1	V_WString
Field 2	V_String
Field 3	V_String
Field 4	V_WString

File 3:

Field Name	Type
Field 1	V_String
Field 2	V_String
Field 3	V_String
Field 4	V_String

Still says the same error. What version are you working on ?

You're on an old version of Alteryx, you need to update to a later version. I wrote this on 2021.2.

save the two .yxmc files to your macro folder, then open the .yxmd file. That should work.

Have not been able to install the latest version, as soon as it is done i will try it out.
