Salesforce Input Tool Error: Missing Incoming Connection

Hi I received and error for the Salesforce Input tool and it states 'Missing Incoming Connection'. I am not sure why I am receiving this error as I am logged in with my credentials and the tool only requires an outgoing connection. Any insight to this? Thanks in advance.
