Run query from here / Cache function in a hybrid workflow

Hi Community, 

I'm running a hybrid workflow combining in database and in designer tools, and even though I'm limiting the number of rows coming in from my incoming DB query (TOP1000) there are a lot of steps, and I dont want to re-run the whole query each time as I continually refine and add and additional steps.

Whats the best way to implement backstops, or whcih functions are best to use to effect a run from 'here' scenario.

Hi @warrencowan

Starting with 2018.3 you can cache your work flow at a point in each independent data stream.  Just right click on a tool and select Cache and Run Work Flow 

There are some limitations as to when you can cache so check out this link.
