Removing TimeStamp from Date

I am attempting to remove a time stamp in the middle of a date with no success. If I change it from a string to a date it will just output NULL. Tried a Timeparse with no luck. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Would like it to match the column on the left. yyyy-mm-dd

This does work! But I see that I have a few dates that display CTD instead of CST so those come back null. How do I add that in the forumula?

@maddoxs try removing the CST or CTD before converting into Date
