Remove Dups

Hi,

If I have a field like this:

Acct Number       States Doing Business in

12345                  AK, AK, AL, MS, AK

s/b

Acct Number       States Doing Business in

12345                  AK, AL, MS

How do I get rid of the dups?

@Brad1  Are you saying your data looks like this?

ACCT NUMBER	STATES DOING BUSINESS IN
12345	AK
12345	AK
12345	AL
12345	MS
12345	AK

If so, you can just use a Summarize tool to GroupBy both fields. This will leave you with each unique combination of acct number and state.
