Hi Team,

I am trying to connect Alteryx with oracle using 32 bit ODBC connector, but getting error.

I followed couple of vedios and blogs, but still my issue remain same.

Error: IM014[ Microsoft] "ODBC Driver Manger

The specified DSN contains an architecture mismatch between the driver and application "

Request you to please provide step by step Solutions.

Few information/ Doubts ( Refer Below):

1. Alteyx  Version : 2020.1.5 ( Alteryx Designer x64)

2. I am not sure whether with this version i can connect with oracke ODBC 32 bit connector.

If yes ,then please provide step by step details.

If not then, please provide how to connect with 64 bit ODBC.

Currently i have Oracle "oraclient12 Home1_32 bit "

Oracle setup.

Also please provide driver details.. in both case ( 32 bit and 64 bit).

Please let me know if you need more information.

Regards

Piyush Jain

You might find that the "Quick Connect" option is easier that uses OCI. Driver information can be found here: https://help.alteryx.com/current/designer/oracle

It sounds like you are trying to use a 32 bit driver when you should in fact be using a 64 bit driver.

This is also a very helpful article that covers all of the different ways that you can connect to Oracle with Alteryx: https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Alteryx-Designer-Knowledge-Base/How-to-Connect-to-an-Oracle-Databas...

Thanks Brandon,

As per my investigation the issue occurred because of environmental variable .

After providing correct details, i am able to connect with Oracle using 64bit ODBC driver.

I will keep below information ( provide by you) for my reference.

Thanks once again.
