Refresh excel Formula

I have a workflow which consolidate the inputs from multiple exces and send it back to excel. There are some calculations which happens in excel and then I want to use the output of the calculation in alteryx. The problem is I have to open the Excel after pushing the input so that excel triggers formula calculations. Is there any way I can refresh the Excel formala through alteryx itself using some function or VBA

Please take a look at my reply on this thread, I explained how to run an Excel macro from Alteryx Locking columns in excel output in that example the macro applies protection to some cells in the Excel files, you may extend that macro to your needs.
