Publish to Tableau Server

Hi

 

I couldn't sign in to Tableau Server. Error appeared as in the screenshot. Appreciate if you could advise me on this, Thank you

A 401 error means unauthorized (bad login). This is normally caused by incorrect credentials being entered. Here is the help documentation on the publish to Tableau Server tool: https://help.alteryx.com/current/designer/publish-tableau-server-tool 

 

My other thought would be that maybe you are using credentials that leverage single sign on and instead need to use an account that doesn't require it.
