Hello Alteryx Community!
I thought this would be fairly common or even obvious, but I can't seem to find exactly how to make my output to an Excel file be of the financial ($0.00) or percentage (0.00%) formats. I have built my first recurring Alteryx workflow for a customer I run twice a week, and it's great except I need to open the Excel file and change format to dollars/percents manually. Incidentally, I also need to expand the column widths manually. Isn't there something Alteryx can do to handle either of these extra steps? I'm hoping to fully automate this workflow eventually. Thanks!

Maybe we can use the option of "preserving format" option.

Thank you Qiu! I actually still am on 2018.1 and waiting for our team to upgrade, but this will be a nice easy solution. 🙂 Thank you for the knowledge!

Hope it works and thanks for the accept mark.😁
Hello, so with this option, the user would still have to format as $ or % in Excel? Are there any other options for outputting a % to Excel that could be used in a calculation immediately? I'm assuming the only option would be to output the % decimal, ie. 0.96 for 96%. Thank you.
