Hi everyone,
I want to export multiple sheets within an excel file. Till four sheets, the block until done tool was sufficient. With more then four block until done tools I get an error that two processes run at the same time (writing a file). Does anyone know another method to write multiple sheets within one excel sheet? Thank you in advance!

Hi @BasLuther
You can use this article to get what you need: https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Alteryx-Knowledge-Base/Output-to-multiple-sheets-within-an-Excel-fi...

Hi @JordanB
Thank you for the reply :)
I found the article, but what is still not clear for me is if you als have multiple input streams. Normally you would use two output tools with one block until done. Now if you use more then three block until done tools, you'll get an error. Is there any way you could solve this problem, use another method?

Hi @BasLuther
Are there specific records you want outputted into different files? Or are you outputting files at different points of the workflow?

Hi Jordan,
I'm outputting files at different points of the workflow.
Kind regards,
Bas
@BasLuther I think the Parallel Block Until Done tool from the CReW macro pack (http://www.chaosreignswithin.com/p/macros.html) will do what you need.
Set up your outputs like above and replace the text inputs with the data to write to each excel sheet.
Thank you, this helps a lot :)
This tool is amazing! Future suggestion would be to include this as atool in Alteryx without a macro. This was a life saver on a project I'm working on. Thank you!
