Omit Sections Using Union Tool and Reporting Tools when data isn't present in an element

Use Case:

1. Separate each region into different sections with headers from data source

2. Omit Region if no data is present

Hello, First time posting, long time lurking. I've been trying to figure out a way to ask this question and decided to just come up with a sample scenario for demonstration purposes. The data I'm pulling sometimes will have data for each section; however, sometimes there is no data and they don't want the section in the report.

In the image below, there is no data for North Sales and I'm curious if someone could show me the best way to go about this

Hi @asmith314,

You can use a count records tool and then use that field as a filter criteria, like below:

Thanks I'll give that a try

Since you have 2 tables for each region (One for the header and one for he data), you do a count records and filter. This will recognize the North region one has one table and filter it out, so it does not show up in the report.
