Multiply then create new row

Hi,

I am new to Alteryx and have the following scenario I would like to automate using Alteryx:

Anything marked as Other in "Task" column, "Hours spend" need to be split according % in the second table (Marketing, IT and Sales) and then create a new row for each new record

Any suggestion on how to achieve this? Thanks in advance.

Filter Other tasks so they are on their own. Append the values from the second table to the other task stream. Set Marketing, IT and Sales (3 columns) with a formula equal to their values * hours. Then you need to Transpose grouping on Department and Task. Change the name field to Function and the value field to Hours spend. Make sure in the transpose Hours spend is not selected in the group by. Then union these results back to the the beginning on the false filter condition (Non-Others). Done.
