Moving Year End Balance into new year as Beginning Balance

Hello,

Currently i am working in a monthly summary report. how can i automate to move Dec ending balance into new year January as beginning balance through Alteryx. So in next year January when user run workflow the system will automatically pick last year Dec ending balance into January Beginning balance. FYI... this is first year we are automated this process so in my current workflow there is a input file from GL but in next year user will not have access to upload this input GL balance into workflow. he will have only run access. Also, is there a way that i can tell alteryx to pick the balance from a file if there is statement in a row with "Ending Balance" so i can put that tool into alteryx and then alteryx can pick ending balance from GL into next year beginning balance.
