Move files from one folder to a sub folder

Can someone help me on how to move previous Excels files from one folder to a sub folder?

Hi @Qiu unfortunately I won't be able to upgrade to 2021.1.3. Currently, the version we're using is 2020.3.5.

Hey @Qiu and @fjlorenzo 

If you ever have an error where the workflow complains about the version number - just open up the workflow in Notepad, and change the version number (it's in the very top of the file) to the version that you're using.

That way you don't need to worry about upgrading.

@SeanAdams I'm not a programmer. Do I just need to copy these text files? If yes, where should I copy these files? Thank you.

The intent of these addin tools is that once you install them they are available for use.   To install them - download the YXI file, and run it in Windows, and it should do the install.

If you need to ask questions on this tool - would make sense to post in @bobpeers 's thread.

Hi @Qiu,

I've an excel file saved at - C:\Users\Public\Testing\1

I want to move it to - C:\Users\Public\Testing\2

I was trying to run your attached workflow. However, I am getting below error.

Error: Run Command (2): The external program "%temp%\RunCommand.bat" returned an error code: 1

Could you please help me figure out, what I am doing wrong?

I even tried using below, still stuck with the same error:

1. move C:\Users\Public\Testing\1\1 Sample.xlsx \C:\Users\Public\Testing\2

2. move C:\Users\Public\Testing\1\1 Sample.xlsx C:\Users\Public\Testing\2

I modified two locations and now its working.

1. remove the browse tool.

2. modify the formula for the path. it caused duplicated path.
