Modify R memory settings

Kuehner

Hi,

when using R outside of Alteryx it's common ground that R holds objects it is using in RAM and therefore faces some restrictions regarding the input data size.

Do the same restrictions hold true, when using the R tool in Alteryx, or did they found a way manage the memory in a more advanced way?

Cheers Tom

Hi @Kuehner

The standard R memory limitations hold true in Alteryx. You can use Microsoft R client and R server in conjunction with Alteryx to better leverage memory and processing, but as for Alteryx's settings, it is limited based on standard R settings.

Cheers,

Mike
