Hi Community,

I tried to create a hyper file for Tableau.

But it came up following error.

Any ideas on a fix of this? My machine has a 32GB RAM.

thanks

Can you check the highlighted portion? Maybe it was unintentionally modified?

Can you try adding an AutoField tool before the Output Data tool? This will help reduce the size of the fields when they can be smaller. Alternatively, you can also try changing from a Hyper file to a TDE to see if that helps

Hi Brandon,

Thanks for responding.

I have added auto field tool right before the output data tool,

the same error message still came up.

Have you tried writing it to a .tde file instead?

Did you change Memory Limit?

e.g. 28,000 MBytes

Hi @ningwu , The workflow consumes some amount of memory from your system to execute a process. While doing this, it creates temp files in your system in a directory similar to ..\Users\xyz\AppData\Local\Temp . This might be due to the Temp Folder being out of space. Additionally, check for disk space on your system as well. Lastly, you can restart Alteryx to automatically delete the Temp Files and run the process thereafter. You should not face a memory issue.

Hope this sorts outs things!

Hi @ningwu,

I would suggest saving it to yxdb file in the first workflow.

In the second workflow, I would try converting this yxdb into hyper. I think that might help as your workflow will require less memory as it will do a smaller amount of transformations.

I have not that yet, as hyper file is our team's preference at this stage

Thanks for your help
