Match two Columns with Company Names

Pickaxe
7 - Meteor

Hi everyone!

I trying to get a output by matching these Two Columns and Get a Output where its matching.

Tried Using Fuzzy match tool with a common column with record ID but For some reason the output is not I execpted.

Points to be considered for it to match:

  • Exact matching i.e ( word to word match )
  • Abbreviaitons LTD - Limited , CO - Company I, INS - Insurance , INC - Incorporation
  • punctuations
  • inclusive for words like brach , Group

Points to be considered for it to Not match:

  • Extra Words
  •  Contains Country codes such as LA , IN

For the below table , Except the one's in Italic and underlined all should be a match.

Have tried out with Fuzzy logic with Company Name template and Im not able to Get the Exact output, attaching the workflow  that i referenced.

My Expectaions and queries are:

  1. Is there a proper way to use fuzzy logic wo create a match using custom template?
  2. Is there any other tool which will help me match these Two Column's

@Pickaxe hi,

have you tried removing the punctuation, Ltd/Limited etc., branch/group etc before fuzzy matching from both sets?
