Macro: Select field error while fields are already selected

Getting an error while using the macro within workflow but everything is perfect during run the macro

Also - can you clarify what tool 3 is - is it the macro - or something in the macro - like say a select tool? Also - how are the values in your list box set? hard code? connected field in the macro?

My understanding is the action tool configuration is not right and wouldn't work. I started of with a similar configuration as yours I couldn't get it working and had to change the approach.

Strange! I just followed the interactive lesson, seems like the interactions  were not correct
