Keep Newline within Report Text Tool

Hi Alteryx Community,

I wanted to know if there's a way by which I can maintain the newlines I have deliberately added to my data within the report text tool. The newlines appears when I use a browse tool, but somehow when I use the report text tool the newlines disappear. Would love to know if there's a way to fix this.

Reviving a super old thread, but I'm having the same issue and the solution that was recommended still does not work for me; were there any other tweaks you had to make? I've tried using \n and <br /> and neither results in new lines in the report text tool.
