Hi All,
I ran the workflow and got the warning message as shown below.
Join: The field 'ABC' is not contained in the record.
I am new to Alteryx and please help me to resolve the above warning.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks,
Suresh.
Solved! Go to Solution.
That means when the Join tool was originally configured, the field called "ABC" was used in the "Join Specific Fields" option, but in your latest run, at least one of the incoming data streams no longer has a field named "ABC", so the Join tool errors saying the field "ABC" is not there when it needs it to be there in order to perform the join operation as configured.
Hi Suresh,
That means that the field (or one of the fields) you are joining on is no longer in the input. Usually if you rename a field ore remove it via a select.
So look at the fields you are joining on and check the two inputs to see where it no longer exists.
Cheers,
Bob
Thank you so much Bob.
