Issue with Salesforce Connector 5.1.1

Hi,
I'm using the new salesforce connector, which was working okay - but is now giving me all sorts of issues.
The issue varies.   It will either say "The request has not been applied because it lacks valid authentication credentials for the target resource"
or, it will let me connect but say "No such column .... on entity ...." if I try to query anything beyond Id and Name.

I can access the objects and fields directly in Salesforce, and via other tools that connect with Salesforce.
Has anyone experienced this and know how to fix it?
