Is it possible to have Salesforce Input connector use Bulk API

We've been using the standard SOAP/REST API to pull data from SFDC - however we are starting to hit limits on max concurrent long running transactions as the number and breadth of our workflows have grown.

@dbeamon the Salesforce Input tool uses the REST API and is not able to be changed at this time.

Hi there,

It has been over two years since this request was originally made and now even more organizations are using Salesforce, including our own.

Given that large organizations generally have Salesforce data-lakes with millions/billions of entries - the BULK API has become pivotal for many Data engineers using Salesforce Data.

Has there been any movement on revisiting the Salesforce Input Connector to use BULK API?

Thank you,

Matt

Is there any update to his functionality? Is this now available or on the roadmap?

Any update on this? Adding the Bulk-read functionality to the Salesforce Input connector will be extremely helpful when we are trying to source millions of rows of data from Salesforce.
