Interactive Chart tool - How do I display the data values?

Question:

I am using the interactive Chart tool to create a line graph but I can't figure out how to make each data point display it's value.  Can someone point me in the right direction?

You'll find the Hover Test option under Layer.

Of the available chart types, only Bar and Pie have the option to always display the values.  You can suggest this as a feature.  I'd vote for it.

I also tried to automate multiple sort of graphs (such as : Line, bar etc) and wanted to take the output on a PPT, however it doesn't allow me to have the data values always available on the graphs though it is bar or line and which makes the graph view completely meaningless. I think we should have the option ready available to automate the presentations also.

Did this ever get resolved?  I am trying to show data points on an X/Y line graph.  Any ideas?
