We have a network drive where a lot of our excel files that we use as inputs are stored.
Recent versions of Alteryx (I believe past two releases) started locking up completely in a scenario when you are trying to do anything with the source excel files located on a network drive through "Data input" tool (like changing directory or worksheet) while those files are in use by other process or open by a user. In the past Alteryx designer would freeze for 10-15 seconds in a scenario like this but then recover and start working again, while newer versions lock up completely and the only solution is to force close the program - loosing all the work in progress!
Please fix this as this problem has already cost us hours of productivity.
