I am trying to put this formula in, and I have seen this formula work on another workbook for the same data, but I am not sure why it is not running. Can someone help pls?

Hi @wave_wstn,

The daily change is a string format. You need to change:

then "0"

You need to put 0 in "" if it isn't a number format.

You are working with a CSV input which will bring in all your fields as strings, but you are trying to subtract one value from another, a numeric operation.

Bring a select tool onto your canvas to change the data types to numeric.

Just an illustration based on others advide.

We should always be aware the data type we are dealing with.

And one more point, I think you may want your "Daily Change" field to be numeric as well.
