IIF Statement

Hello,

I am trying to build a column using the formula below but I'm not sure if I'm writing this correctly. I want the formula to point at column_a and read that into the new column. If column_a is null, then move on to column_b, column_c, then column_d in that order.

IIF(IsNull([column_a]), [column_b], [column_c], [column_d])

Hi @vujennyfer,

I wrote it fully out instead of using IIF. Is this what you're going for?

IF !isnull([column_a])

THEN [column_a]

ELSEIF !isnull([column_b])

THEN [column_b]

ELSEIF !isnull([column_c])

THEN [column_c]

ELSE [column_d]

ENDIF

Hope it helps!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!! This is exactly what I was looking for 🙂
