IDCRL Authentication for SharePoint connectors

Hi,

 

I have a query regarding Microsoft’s announcement that IDCRL (Identity Client Runtime Library) Authentication will be deprecated on January 31, 2026. After this date, any solution using IDCRL will fail. For details, please refer to Migrating from IDCRL authentication to modern authentication in SharePoint - Microsoft 365 Developer....

 

I wanted to check if this impacts the Alteryx SharePoint connectors? As my team currently still uses deprecated SharePoint connectors to read/write to SharePoint sites in Alteryx workflows.

Yes, I would imagine if you are still using that authentication method in those tools, your tools will be affected. Have you tried downloading the new SharePoint tools and connecting with them? They will be the officially supported tools since these are deprecated.
