I am trying to update a facebook insights connector assisting macro but am running into SQL Server database issues trying to using the Macro Input In-DB and Macro Output In-DB in Alteryx trying to generate a new yxdb file.  Will someone who has experience generating yxdb files help me out?  I need a file named Metrics.yxdb created from the csv file attached to this posting.  Your help is appreciated. Alteryx_SQL_Server_Error.jpgFacebook_Insights_Assisting_Macros.jpg

Hi,

I'm not sure I understand. Why are you using the In-DB macros? Normally to create a .YXDB you would just use a regular Input Tool (Metrics.csv) to an Output Tool configured to create a file of type Alteryx Database.

Hi Iain,
I am new to Alteryx. I am trying to update the Facebook Insight macro
created by "Inviso Macros" It is outdated. There are more metrics
available per the facebook developers link(
https://developers.facebook.com/docs/graph-api/reference/v2.12/insights).
I am trying to update the Metrics.yxdb file which is an assisting macro to
the Facebook Insights macro.yxmc file. I copied all the all the values
that were in the Metrics.yxdb file to the Metrics.csv file but I now need
to turn the Metrics.csv file into an exact copy of the Metrics.yxdb file
with the addition of the new metrics that I've added to the existing ones
already in the Metrics.yxdb file. Does that clear up the confusion? If
you could tell me step for step how to update the yxdb file with the new
metrics, it would be great so that I could learn or if it is faster just to
update the yxdb file from the csv file, then that is fine too.
