Dear  all , hello !

2- But the filed name has line breaks between '123' and 'ABC', in formula , normal syntax can't get right result.

3- I don't want rename it and then restore name.

4- Anyone know how to get output only use formula ?

You can use the Multi-Field Formula and tick your field of interest, and use the formula accordingly.

Hi, @caltang

Thank you ! this is a bypass solution. What's wrong in the formula parse itself ?

I think it has to do with how Formula tool reads the field name:

Because it needs to read one line in order to work, otherwise it will not read it at all. It will treat it as an incorrect field name, eventhough we know it to be correct - this is one limitation of field names. The other is that it cannot be a duplicate name of an existing field.

Hope that helps! If the above solved your need, kindly like & mark as accepted solution so that you may help others find the solution more quickly + to close the thread as is. Thanks!
