How to subtract balances at certain data date?

Seeking help to write a formula to subtract Amount at Date 8/29/25 from Amount at Date 9/30/25 or any other Date in the example below.

Date	Amount
7/31/25	100,000
8/29/25	500,000
9/30/25	200,000
